ZHAOJING started with a single objection: that most colour is designed to be photographed rather than worn. The house was built the other way round — on pigment that still looks like itself at the end of a working day.
Four collections, one hand. Lip, eye, complexion and fragrance are developed together so that a finished face reads as one idea, not four separate purchases. If a shade does not survive daylight, it does not go into the range.
The objects matter as much as the formula. Weighted caps, refillable cases, a compact you do not hide at the bottom of a bag. Packaging is the part of a beauty product you touch every day, so we treat it as the product.

Colour is chosen before packaging, before naming, before anything else. If a shade does not read true on skin, it does not ship.
